The Journey

Polar bears are among the greatest wanderers on Earth. They do not stay in one place, they follow the ice. They navigate open water, thin ice, storms and carry generations of migration in their bodies.

I wanted to paint that endurance. Not a bear on an iceberg, but a bear on the journey itself.

For me, this piece is about resilience. About putting one paw in front of the other when the world around you is shifting and melting and reforming. About quiet, determined forward motion.

"The Journey" is a reminder that strength doesn't always roar. Sometimes it just keeps walking. Surviving.

An original 48”×30”x1.5” oil painting on canvas. Varnished for UV protection, signed and dated on the back. Hanging hardware installed (ready to hang). Sides are painted a solid Charcoal.
