Homebound

$2,400.00

Homebound is not just a direction. It is a feeling. It is that deep knowing that you are headed toward the people and the place that holds you. Even when the water is dark. Even when the mist has not cleared yet. You are not lost. You are homebound.

This piece is about the one who goes first, the mother, the matriarch, the one who carries the memory of home and leads her family back to it. It is about the ones who trust to follow her. Because home is not a place you find alone. Home is the pod you return to. Home is where you are headed, together.

We are all homebound.

An original 30”×40”x1.5” oil painting on canvas. Varnished for UV protection, signed and dated on the back. Hanging hardware installed (ready to hang). Sides are painted a solid Charcoal.
